GAWSF News: 21 August, 2023
The 2023 Silk Road Youth Combat Competitions successfully concluded in Beijing on 20 August, 2023. A total of 18 young fighters from 16 top combat sport clubs across the country participated in the competition.
The eldest contestant is of 14 years old and the youngest is of 9 years old. From these young boxers, we can see their fighting spirit, fighting wits, courage and self-improvement. The winners of theses competitions will have the opportunity to take part in international sports and cultural exchanges organised by the GAWSF in the future.
The competitions were organised by the General Association of World Sports Federations (GAWSF), the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and the China International MMA Federation, and hosted by Beijing Fighting Investment Co., Ltd., and supported by the Silk Road Planning and Research Center.
