Martial Arts are codified systems and traditions of combat practiced for a number of reasons such as self-defense; military and law enforcement applications; competitions;  physical, mental, and spiritual development; entertainment; and the preservation of a nation's intangible cultural heritage.

The GAWSF Martial Arts Committee was officially established in 2022. It aims to promote the popularization of all kinds of martial arts, including mixed martial arts and traditional combat sports, and to organize national and international martial arts events.
